| About the Author |
I wish I could write as a music director motions through her songs and symphonies with all her being. With the visions of light performing on a stage that no one can touch, and provide the music, the essence, with a life that is different from all others. To register my movement directly from the rushing images in my mind to something visible, tangible, something the senses can at least grasp if nothing else. A swiftness none can hear, but only feel, a true story that one is only capable of experiencing through something deep within herself and not through the gathering of words on paper with her eyes. So that when she closes her eyes she's on the edge of known reality peering into a world that has been more than merely created, more than merely born. She's stepping into a beautiful impossibility.

I come here recognizing that what I have to express is a part of me, a deeper part of me that I think even I sometimes overlook. Yet, even when I sometimes overlook where I've stepped, it's easy to see where I last was and remember on an instinct a connection I shared with the words I had written.

It's an imperfect thought that always wants to be written and expressed, and through trial and error, realizes that it can't. The frustration of recognizing this only subsides when a perfect thought, not so much well developed as well expressed, is written in its place. Satisfaction lies there and little else but simplicity.
